Research On Works Transfer Of The Journal Of Literature And Art From 1949 To 1966

After the founding of the new Republic of China in October,1949,Journal of Literature and Art becomes one of the most important publishes of literature and art nationwide,which actively participates in the recent Chinese literature critic activities influences the vicissitudes of the recent Chinese literature ideological trend,carries out the responsibility to spread the mainstream ideology of the country and guides the orientation of literature and art.According to the study on the Journal of Literature and Art during the “Seventeen Years” period,it is found that the passages being transferred mainly originate from two dimensions,People's Daily and PLA Daily horizontally which belong to the first-class national publish as the same as the Journal of Literature and Art and local publishes like Beijing Evening News,Hebei Daily and Shanghai Literature vertically.The types of passages bing transferred are predominated by literary arts policy,literary critics and literary works.The Journal of Literature and Art in the early stage of the people's Republic of China directly or indirectly influences the occurrence and development of the recent Chinese literature with its irreplaceable position,significance and authority.The research objects of this thesis are works being transferred by the Journal of Literature and Art from Sep.25 th,1949 to May.20 th,1966.The author reviews the Journal of Literature and Art and exhaustively search for all the works being transferred during this period and tease them through historical data.Given some typical works being transferred,the thesis applies the field theory of Pierre Bourdieu to analyze its transfer behavior.The first chapter reviews the significance of the Journal of Literature and Art in the recent Chinese literary history through the external factors of the Journal of Literature and Art and interprets the deep meaning of transfer at macro level and deepens into analyzing the multiple factors influencing transfer,including political factor,right control and editor selection.The second chapter classifies the transferred literature works during the 17 years into literary arts policy,literary and art criticism,literary works,self-examination and acknowledges the works being transferred as a whole.While the third chapter applies field theory to analyze typical transferred works,aiming at explaining how actors in the field cooperate to accomplish transfer and the intention being expected.The fourth chapter concretely explains the transferred works' function and influences on the 17-year literature standardization.This thesis holds that the Journal of Literature and Art is an important periodical which assumes the role of issuing literary arts policy,leading literature ideological trend and guiding literary creation which has a clear target on which passages to transfer.These passages have already changed the meaning and target when being published for the first time during its secondary transmission.The passages being transferred have a broader influences,which even play a guiding role in the construction of mainstream ideology and literary regulations.Through research on the macro viewpoint of transfer,this thesis attempts to figure out the situation where seventeen-year literature happens in the purpose of retrospecting to the history and presenting the complexity and freshness of the history of that time.
