In the 1990s,with the gradual awakening of the female writers' consciousness of women in China,they began their female writing of historical novels with a clearer gender identity and women's historical vision.This kind of writing not only has the description of the female life experiences and the physical desire,correction of female images ignored and twisted in history,but also includes thinking and analysis of the plight of women in history.This fully shows the life consciousness and existence of them. In this period, the female writers gave a new interpretation of history in the attempt to break through the male discourse right,endowed historical novels with special meaning and value and embodied women's courage and wisdom of writing history. With the silent calling of such a historic mission, there appeared the peak period of female writing in the 1990s.This thesis chooses three novels which can represent women" s writing art value and creative achievement of historical novels in the 1990s——Princess Gaoyang by Zhao Mei,Everlasting Regret by Wang An'yi and Dreams Broken in Guan River by Ling Li.This thesis starts the female writing,analysis and study of the historical novels in the 1990s in a unique way and aims to generalize the basis characteristic and unique value of such novels.The main body has three chapters:The first chapter mainly analyzes the condition and influence of the formation of female writing of historical novels in the 1990s from the background of the times and the writing context.The second chapter traces back to the evolution of the female writing in the historical novels, and mainly studies the three kinds of female images in the novel:"the demonizing princess" "the romantic and dissipated social butterfly"and "the humble actor".And probe into the novelty of the images from the perspective of human nature.The third chapter analyzes the expression and the situation of women's life consciousness from the spiritual level...
