The arrival of the age of big data,has changed people's way of thinking and behavior and has brought imperceptibly a series of changes to all walks of life,including the film and television industry.At present,the domestic study of big data is still purely theoretical,and in its infancy.Moreover,the big data study of film and television drama production and dissemination lacks complete and systematic framework.On the basis of existing research results and using interdisciplinary research method,this paper discusses the production and dissemination processes of Chinese films and television dramas in the age of big data through data analysis,comparative studies,and combining creatively the big data technologies in the field of computer and the practice of film and television drama production and dissemination,so as to guide and improve the production and dissemination of Chinese films and television dramas in the specific age,as well as to provide new thoughts and frameworks for this study.In order to achieve a relatively systematic,comprehensive and objective research on the big data production and transmission of films and TV series,the paper makes comparative analysis of the respective production and dissemination of films and TV series in the data era and the age of big data,from the following four aspects:film planning,production,dissemination and feedback of the audience.Facilitated by the Internet and big data technology,the production and spreading of films and television dramas develops gradually from "experience and content oriented" to "data and service oriented".Big data technology has brought certain changes to the whole process in which films and TV series are produced and spread from planning to audience's feedback.First,the planning perspectives and planning ways has shifted from experience-oriented to market-oriented.Next,information in the process of producing is utilized more completely and effectively through big data technology.Besides the dissemination of films and television dramas can also be more personalized,diversified and interactive as a result of the big data.Moreover,big data makes the audience feedback system start to transform so as to adapt to the new media environment as well as the age of big data,promoting more objective and scientific feedback data of ratings.Big data is a double-edged sword for it brings positive impact on film and television drama production and dissemination,meanwhile it poses some challenges as well.During the application process of big data on the field of television drama production and spread,increasingly growing data has brought difficulties on purification and storage.At the same time,as the overlook toward audience's subjective initiative and a lower level of treatment during the data processing of big data technology,the final result lack accuracy.The problems that undue catering to the audience,regardless of user privacy and reducing or even neglecting the value of social dissemination,and the frequent occurence of lousy drama high ratings,are need to be solved.To achieving this goal,creators of films and TV productions are supposed to keep their minds clear,open their eyes and seize opportunities so as to continuously promote the innovation and development of China's film and television drama production and dissemination.
