Since the reform and opening,rural public cultural undertakings lag behind economic development.The lagging of the rural cultural construction leads to the lacking of culture life and the void of spiritual life in rural areas.Reconstruction of rural cultural space is of great importance in overcoming the discreteness of rural life,strengthening rural internal unity and cultural cohesion and promoting the new rural construction,especially the rural cultural construction.Under the guidance of The Third Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist and The 13 th Party Congress of Zhejiang Province,Zhejiang provincial government makes a great advance in the field of rural spiritual civilization construction and cultural construction based on the strategy of modernizing Zhejiang which surrounds the spirit of “both material and spirit should be rich”.This advance is a bold exploration in the reconstruction of the rural public cultural space.In the construction the rural cultural hall,Yongjia government attaches great importance to the mining of traditional culture and the utilization of resources.This case provides reference and lesson for dealing with the common difficult issues in the current rural cultural hall construction.Rural cultural hall construction is a new subject.It is both the innovation and development of the ancient rural cultural construction and the discoveries of the rural cultural construction practice of many years.Through the specific study of rural cultural hall,this thesis attempts to clarify its importance to the rural cultural construction.Reference to breaking the original spatial pattern of rural culture is also provided in the thesis.On the basis of the predecessors’ former studies,it is also necessary to dig deeper into the historical data.In order to expand the scope of the research,the author also carries on field investigation and interview.By the application of distinct research methods,the rural cultural hall construction in Yongjia province is specifically expounded from four aspects.The first part puts forward the problems,at the same time the origin and the background of the theory are also proposed.As one part of the rural cultural construction,construction of rural cultural hall is the embodiment of the culture construction of the new socialist.This chapter introduces the theoretical exploration of the rural culture construction since the founding of the Party.The review of the theory leads to a contemporary clue for the analysis of the historical background of the appearance of rural cultural hall construction.The second part takes Yongjia province as a case.The profile of Yongjia and the current situation of the public rural culture construction in Yongjia are introduced briefly.These aspects reflect the deficiencies in the construction of rural cultural hall.In turn the necessity of the construction is proved.The third part analyzes the current situation and the reasons of the rural cultural hall construction in Yongjia.First and foremost the thesis praises the achievements of rural cultural hall construction in Yongjia province.Then it discusses the problems existing in the construction of rural cultural hall.After that the causes of existing problems are elaborated from several aspects.Finally the question of how to build rural cultural hall is answered and some guidance which are disserted from function of government,construction of the team and integration of the resources are given for the purpose of benefiting the people by rural cultural hall and inheriting rural culture.The fourth part gets the conclusion.The uniformity between the construction of new countryside and the construction of rural cultural hall is reflected by the thinking on the construction of the rural cultural hall.On one hand,the building of the new countryside is the theoretical basis of the construction of rural cultural hall.On the other hand,the construction of rural cultural hall is the inheritance and development of the building of new countryside.What’s more,it provides great significance to rural cultural construction.
