Innovation and change are the powerful weapons of the modern art challenge the classical art.however the art changes, the last is the form and concept of the art. The nature of art will nor change. The essence of art is of beauty, the classical art is rational, and the modern art is both rational and form. The emergence and development of any a kind of art ideological trend is bound to be in a style as the background. The generation of modern art is not isolated.It must be built on the basis of classical art to take root, sprout, which is bound to be free from the shackles of experience to make its way. Innovation is to refine, to abandon the traditional, it is to get rid of the shackles of tradition; seeking to change doesn't mean throwing away tradition, but to give the traditional more fresh blood and vitality. This paper starts with Picasso "Las Meninas", through the starts with analysis of series of works Las Meninas, from the technique, space, aesthetic form three aspects to investigate the effect of classical art on modern art.
