New art has appeared. New form of art "animation", accompanying with the emerging and developing of science and technology attracts many attentions domestically nowadays, for its conception or creation. It may be still too early to conclude this new art form systematically in theory, however, based on what appeared in its initial phase, it is reasonable to consider it as a kind of new technical method as well as a new kind of poetic form.This has been illustrated in the stop-motion puppet animation by Kihachiro Kawamoto, the Japanese animation master:Each pattern of animation has a specific way and vein of screenwriting as well as its rendition, puppet animation itself that represent an animation pattern, so also need a special way of rendition, which are not through some kind of defamiliarization art means to make people confused, but delicate balanced scene scheduling, narration, music, etc. We should not only need visual image, but to be able to feel the characters'spiritual world, which is sometimes alternate or simultaneous. This is a kind of style that both plain and luxuriant, reality and theatrical. Kawamoto is not bound by physical materials, shaped a kind of artistic sense which accords with modern Easterners:deadpan but not blankly; Appears to be calm, but full of feelings; Utterly ignorant about the fate of front that has place oneself among it; In trivial, but understand the point soon. Undoubtedly, the elements themselves are worth of studying in a more detailed scientific system besides my personal preference.
