Based on the Dunhuang frescoes and Yongle Palace murals as a case study, we compared the Chinese ancient religious themed murals in shaping the image of women, and build the basic characteristics of artistic creation, rules and results. Chinese ancient religious history and the mural is a Chinese mural art history an important part of the national art, has high artistic, cultural and historical value, worthy of further study.
