Chapter 2 provides a brief description of the three stages of the translation process--preparation before translation, the translating process and after translation. Chapter 3 reviews the Skopos theory which is the theoretical basis for the translation, and its application to the present translation task. Chapter 4 addresses the difficulties and solutions in translation from two aspects: lexical level which includes Transliteration and liberal translation and syntactic level which includes amplification and splitting. And chapter 5 makes a conclusion and points out the unsolved problems.
