With the development and progress of science and technology,people's pursuit of material interests is increasingly frequent,excessive pursuit of material interests will be presenting a hedonism and money worship thought.From this,we can know that people's moral values and values show a hysteresis in today's society.Therefore,it is necessary to make a systematic understanding of the traditional moral thought of Chinese and western,so as to make comparative analysis and point out their common points and different points.Especially on the axial age in pre Qin period and ancient Greece morality should be more to make a comparative study because of pre Qin period and ancient Greece period saints are in the axial age the turbulent social pattern.Their thoughts have many of similarities and differences.Through the comparative study of the axial age in western ethical thoughts,facilitates us to more deeply understand the western traditional ethical ideas covered the main content,in order to understand the has its advantages and disadvantages.On the basis,we should "Quqijinghua,Quqizaopo,in order to accurately understand the profound influence of Chinese and Western moral thought.This thesis adopts the method of analysis and comparison,through to the axis of the western moral thoughts system to collate,elaborate,comparative,analysis to point out the similarities and differences between them.Also link the theory with practice,all theory are for service practice.So is the Qin Dynasty and the ancient Greece's moral thought.This thesis divided into five parts.The first part summarizes the source of the topic along with its study meaning,study present situation,research methods and the problems to be solved.The second part discusses the position of the axis age in the history of human civilization and the basic characteristics of the axial age.The third part is the comparison of the natural social and historical conditions of the western moral thought in the axial age,from the differences and effects of natural andgeographical conditions,social and political conditions of the similarity and the results are discussed in detail in this thesis.The fourth part analyzes the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western moral idea of axial age.First of all,discusses the moral values in the pre Qin period based on the theory of Tao and human nature;further detailed the ancient Greek period,which is based on the traditional or epistemology,respectively;secondly,from the Chinesegroup,human,moral example,classe,humanism,discusses the differences between the two western individual,utilitarian,rational,rule of law,freedom and equality,scientific spirit aspects of differences;finally,from the aspects of historical background,moral principle,moral and economic foundation to adapt their moral,political structure or political order serves the purpose explains common morality thought.The fifth part expounds the evaluation of the heritage of the western moral thought in the axis age.Firstly,expounds the moral thought of the pre Qin period that has fundamentally shaped the Chinese people's ideological and cultural tradition,which has profound and lasting influence.Secondly,profoundly analysis the moral thought in the West in ancient Greece's period that has fundamentally created western scientific and democratic spirit,which has long-term and new indemnity influence.
