The rapid development of digital network technologies and communication industry have caused big reform of traditional music industry.In the 1990's,digital music industry began to stir up waves on the large scale around the world.However,copyright is always the most troubled problem of the digital music industry to move to another higher level.The digital music piracy is becoming more and more worse and complicated with the digital music copyrihgts' range expanding,the right subjects' increasing and the commumicating technologies developing and so on.Facing Chinese digital music industry which started a little late but kept surprisingly fast developing,protection of copyrihgts is much more important for all of us.It makes music industry staffes and musicians annoy and struggle that current copyright law system is lack and out of date,network technologies is developing faster and faster,orgnized groups of piracy are spreading unboundedly and consumers' recognition of copyriht protection lacks a lot etc.This paper focused on the copyright protection of Chinese digital music industry.By analyzing the development of Chinese digital music industry present situation and practical difficulties,this paper try to describe and analyze the conflicts and unbalance especially about the unsmooth development of music copyrights in the era of new media.Then I take QQ Music, the most famous online musical platform in China,as the example to summerize and groom its over-ten-years efforts and explorations on music copyright protection.At last,this paper try to give some suggestions to Chinese digital music industry'development in long run from five perspectives of legislation, technology, market, orgnization and consumers.
