| Just as it goes: Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards,the development of everything is achieved by complying with specific rules.Enterprises are facing more and more problems and risks in their business management.To ensure that all decisions, operations, and administrative actions of the companies conform to the laws and regulations as well as basic social ethics, a series of institutional processes need to be established to avoid risks hence the term “compliance”. Compliance management is of vital significance to enterprises. If a company fails in its compliance management, it may be subject to punishment of supervision agencies or even legal sanctions.Compliance management can prevent and reduce operational risks. This Compliance and Business Integrity Policy translated by the author aims to prevent problems concerning the legitimate relationship between healthcare professionals and the Company during their interactions so as to make it more convenient for the Company to make a strong contribution to the public health while adhering to the highest standard of practice.This practice report is based on the E-C translation practice of “Sanofi2015 Compliance and Business Integrity Policy”. It mainly consists of four parts: Chapter I explains the background, content, objective and significance of translation practice; Chapter II describes preparation before translation,translation process and proofreading of the translation; Chapter III analyzes the textual features of the Compliance and Business Integrity Policy and conducts comparative analysis between the original version and the proofread version to find strategies for translation of difficult sentences; Chapter IV summarizes the translation experience and loss and gains of my translation process. |
