The Research Of Subjective Quantity Of The Modern Chinese Modal Adverds

Chinese modal adverbs and subjective quantity have always been issues in modern Chinese studies, but the study about the combination of Chinese adverb and subjective quantity still need to be further compiement and deepen. The paper based on this,from the perspective of subjective quantity,using single contrast analysis method,with and without comparison method of modal adverbs has carried on the detailed investigation. Mainly including three aspect:(1) the scope of modal adverbs(2) modal adverbs are divide from the view of the subjective quantity(3) comparation of the synonymous modal that express subjective quantity. This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly reviewe achievements of subjective quantity, at the same time also introduced the research contents, research ideas, research methods and corpus sources in this paper.The second chapter redefine the scope of modal adverbs, meanwhile,clear our understanding about subjective quantity, including definitions and classifications,and divide modal adverbs from view of subjective quantity for two times.The third chapter is third division of modal adverbs, mainly focusing on the table the modal adverbs of subjective quantity. According to the characteristics of the amount is divided into six types, cited examples to illustrate on the basis of predecessors' research. At the same time, according to the strength of the subjectivity of modal adverbs to making comparative analysis.The fourth chapter select five groups of modal adverbs to make comparative analysis.Because each word in the aspect of subjective quantity expression although basic consistent,but does not rule out its own unique characteristics. Therefore, this chapter compares three aspects of subjective expression characteristic amount of each group of words with the semantics, syntax and pragmatics.In this paper, situation that modal adverbs express subjective quantity was carried on a detailed investigation. For chinese modal adverb classification provides a new angle, also from two aspects of theory and practice to enrich and perfect the subjective quantity. At the same time, having a very important research significance in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
