Functionalist Approach To The Translation Of Fantasy Fiction From English Into Chinese

In recent years, with the fantasy theme films and a large number of online fantasy television series of the British and American logging in China, make the current demand for fantasy literature reached a new height. At the same time, the quality of the translation of fantasy literature also will be improved. This translation practice report will choose the novel technomancer as the research object, selecting the translation of typical case to study fantasy novels and to solve various problems and solutions encountered in translation; in the guidance of the functional translation theory, using domesticating method and the amplification and rewriting method to do the novel translation practice,and to get a high quality translation version. At the end of the paper, the new method of translation of the fantasy novel is summarized from the aspects of psychological expectation of the audience, the balance of adaptation and alienation, and the Translator's intervention.
