Report On The Translation Of Transnational Legal Ordering And State Change (Chapter 5)

This is a translation project report on Transnational Legal Ordering and State Change edited by Gregory Shaffer. The Source Text is an excerpt from Chapter 5, access to Neoliberalism, Transnational Education Norms, and Education Spending in the Developing World written by Elizabeth Heger Boyle and Minzee Kim.This report is divided into four parts. Chapter One is a brief introduction of the translation project, including the background and significance of this project, as well as the structure of this report. Chapter Two consists of an introduction to the author, the main content and language features of the Source Text. Chapter Three extends to display the pre-translation analysis, the guiding theory, translation difficulties and the specific methods, such as conversion and sentence division. Chapter Four is the conclusion, which sums up the implication and lessons drawn from this project, hoping to provide useful reference for the translation of texts of the same type. Generally speaking,this thesis appears more practical than theoretical.
