Language attitude has always been the hot issues of social linguistics, and researches on college students' attitude towards language has always been favored by the researchers. In this paper, we use the Matched guise technique method to get the qualitative analysis about the nonYue Ji undergraduate students' attitude towards Cantonese and mandarin language in Guangzhou universities, and we use questionnaire survey method to know the non- Yue Ji undergraduate students' current level of Cantonese, Cantonese acquisition will and reason, their expecting Cantonese acquisition level, the ways that they like to learn Cantonese and their language use,and so that we can make a picture about the non- Yue Ji undergraduate students' language in Guangzhou.Finally, according to the subjects' attitude towards language and Cantonese life situation, with the perspective of "people-oriented", this paper argues that universities in Guangzhou and the Guangzhou government should attach importance to intercultural communication needs and their potential value in Ling Nan culture construction in the new period.In this paper, the experimental data shows that the non- Yue Ji undergraduate students has no significant difference attitude between Cantonese and mandarin in the language level of emotional attitude, but they prefer mandarin.And in the language of social status level,significant difference is found between Cantonese and mandarin's evaluation, thinking mandarin has the higher social status. The effective factors are the economic development level of former residence and the subjects' s native dialect, The non-effective factors are the subjects' gender, grade, professional, intention to stay in Guangdong and family language environment.This paper survey data shows that the non- Yue Ji undergraduate students' Cantonese states are both actively open in psychological cognition and passively tense in practice.
