In the long history of traditional culture developing in our country, the "Qi" is the root, which has had a significant impact on Su Shi, and It's Su shi's unique temperament. This paper, which based on the Su Ci, Mainly studies the three main "gas" in Su shi's life.The thesis is divided into five major parts as the following: The introduction has three sections: the reasons of choosing this topic, literature review, and the research significance. To study Su Shi and his “Ci” from the perspective of "gas", which is the root of traditional culture in our country, can seem to be more close to the inner essence and personality charm; The literature review part detailed combed the research situation of "gas", "The gas of Ci", "The gas of Su Ci"; The study significance illustrates the ideas and methods of research.The first chapter, which is the basic theory part of whole paper, discusses the developing process of "gas" and the relationship between Su Shi and "gas". It's the three main stages of Specific material, philosophy and literary theory, of which, people and articles was evaluated by "gas" is the mainly review part.The second chapter discusses his idea of the people and the contribution to “Ci”. Because Su Shi almost spent his whole life in the banished, the first Section discusses his feelings to monarch and people through the concept of the people and specific things he did to the local people. The second Section discusses his uncommon by the breakthrough he made in Subject matter content and style.The third chapter discusses his frustration and concept of “Life is but a dream". The first Section discusses the frustration he experienced in life. Although his mind was filled with patriotic enthusiasm, the reality is often frustrated by political frustration and strike. So, It's normal to have the heart of grief. The second Section illustrate his "dream" image in his “Ci”. He felt that life was short and uncertain because of his long-term displacement, relatives and friend's long Separation, family's untimely death, so he lamented that the "Life is but a dream".The fourth chapter discusses his personality and word lattice. This chapter is also divided into two sections, It's not only a response to the first few chapters, but also a summary of the full text. The optimism Embodied in his “Ci” is analyzed in detail in the first Section. The second Section illustrates the elegance in his “Ci” from the perspective of " Ci as Poetry ".
