Vocabulary teaching, the significant content in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, has always been throughout the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, which attracts the attention of the experts and scholars. In teaching vocabulary, synonyms and synonyms Discrimination are always the difficult points for the second language learners, while the existing dictionaries lay more emphases on the interpretations of vocabulary's rational sense, but generally pay less attention to the labels of words color sense, especially the stylistic color of the word. Therefore, the learners is lack of discrimination ability of stylistic color in the course of the second language acquisition, which leads a series problems in terms of oral or written expression and is disadvantage to the language communicaiton.The thesis, based on previous studies, summarizes the judge features of the word's different stylistic colors, which helps the learners judge the items' stylistic color through the different stylistic characteristics and use the different stylistic color words in the correct language communication according to different contexts, and makes the oral or written expressions more smooth and natural, according with grammatical rules, stylistic requirements and pragmatic culture. The study, adopting the questionnaire method, investigates the oversea students of the junior and senior stage in Hebei University, concerning the study of stylistic knowledge and designs the test to examine the students in terms of the mastery of the Chinese words stylistic colors, and finally to inspect the study. Through observing the students' use of the collected corpus and analyzing the students' errors, the investigation summarizes the bias type and suggests the teachers pay more attention to the likely errors in the teaching so that the students can prevent or minimize errors influence in future communication.The thesis is discussed from six parts:Chapter 1, the introduction part, states the reason of choosing the topic and the previous research acheivements are reviewed in this part. Firstly, this research interprets the body language, then investigates the status of Chinese language body color, and finally combines the results of the word color in the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and further clarifies the object of study, the purpose and the methods.Chapter 2, through the investigation of the marked stylistic color words in "Modern Chinese Dictionary", the research adds up the words marked <?> and <?>and summarizes the characteristics of the words marked <?>and <?> from the aspects of phonetic and word-formation, so as to provide reference for judgement of stylistic color in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.Chapter 3, the study, by designing questionnaires and tests, discusses the students' mastery of Chinese stylistic knowledge, the discrimination of words stylistic colors, the analysis capabilities of synonyms and the abilities of words option and diction according to the different contexts, which helps to research the oversea students' psychology and methods of vocabulary learning.Chapter 4, the thesis screens and analyzes the collected written and spoken corpus, and classifies and arranges the error phenomenon of the vocabulary stylistic color on the aspect of the students' usage of words, which provides references for teachers' classroom teaching and reminds the learners of likely stylistic errors to reduce the error phenomenon.Chapter 5, the investigation summarizes some thoughts on Chinese vocabulary Teaching, emphasizes the significance of style from the perspectives of the learners and the teachers and cultivates the learner's sense of style. In teaching, the study values the connection of local culture and contextual elements and the comprehensiveness of teaching materials, and proposes to revise the special dictionary related to vocabulary stylistic color, so as to better promote the development of Chinese Vocabulary Teaching.Chapter 6, the conclusion part sums up the investigation achievements, the oversea students' stylistic deviation classifications in the usage of Chinese vocabulary, which mainly including serious colloquialization phenomenon in the written expressions and strong colorful expressive effects of oral expressions, and analyzes the insufficiencies including quantities of the questionnaires and the collection of corpus. The thesis deeply interprets a clear direction for further research and does the best to expand the quantities of questionnaires and optimize the corpus option.
