A Practice Report On The Interpreting Of A Lecture About Juridical Protection Of Patent

This report is based on the interpretation of the lecture Strengthening Juridical Protection of Patent given by Dr. Song Yushui at Breakout Session 3 of PIAC in Beijing, Sept.2015. The lecture was mainly about the current situation in juridical protection of patent and the speaker's own thought. This paper gives specific introduction, research and summary of this interpreting practice.This report is composed of five parts, which are task description, process description,preparations, case analysis and summary. Task description is the brief description of this task,including the time, place and other related information. Process description gives a general introduction about the procedure of the interpreting practice. Preparations are made up of collecting relevant materials and searching technical words and expressions. Case analysis is the core of this report. The material analyzed is the recording of this interpreting task. This chapter was divided into four parts which are interpretation of numbers, interpretation of words, interpretation of sentences, and accidents in interpretation. Specific cases are analyzed to find how interpreting skills can be used into practice. The last chapter is a summary of the practice, looking forward to bring some help in the future practice.
