| The issue of Wang Meng’s recent novel Here Is the Scenery was a significant affair in the history of Chinese contemporary literature and Wang Meng’s novel creation chain development, it pierces through the burying dust of history and glows new vitality with its spiritual penetration which can pass through the space and time and its emotional appeal which keeps newer with time. The novel sparked widespread concern in the literary and academic world after its publication and won the ninth Mao Dun prize in literature in August 2015 which was the only one in Wang Meng’s writing career to get this award. Since the thesis’ s topic was confirmed in 2014, it has been committed to explore the special position and unique value in the history of Chinese contemporary literature and Wang Meng’s novel creation chain, in the meanwhile, it dig in Wang Meng’s psychology of his creation. Revolving around the two points and keywords "inheritance" and "variations", this paper expand from the following aspects: firstly, it introduces the writing and publishing progress of Here Is the Scenery, Wang Meng’s novel creation chain and related background briefly;secondly, it explores the absorption and inherit of the cultural tradition of ethnic minorities such as customs, life philosophy and cultural mentality, the continuous writing and playing of the focus on the youth and political themes since 1950’s, the presentation and transcendence of lingering "Cultural Revolution Literature" in the book Here Is the Scenery; thirdly, it discusses the origin of Wang Meng’s humorous variegated and carnival language style and the beginning of his country writing in the new period. With the attempt of language practice and the breakthrough of story structure, the novel makes it to isolate and deconstruct the theme of political movement of the "Siqing" and the "Cultural Revolution", to taunt and tease unified and Utopia language, and on which to place the imagination of literary ideology in new period and the appel of the significance construction of multi-dimensional literature language. |
