Among The unearthed bamboo slips in pre-Qin period,most of them are from Chu tombs,due to the unique climate, geographical conditions and Special protective measures of Chu tomb.There is no doult that they are the one of the most significant archaeological discoveries by showing us a calligraphy.world of pre-Qin dynasty that has locked in dusty history for a long time. They reveal the early calligraphy form out of the insicriptions and Tie Xue which has the meaning of calligraphy and philology. It is an unique system generated and developed independtly in a relative backward and closed geographical environment,which is Integrated into the development history of the Chinese handwriting instead of being out of the history of Chinese calligraphy.It serves as a link between past and future of development history of the Chinese handwriting with the significance of Morphology of calligraphy.The article is about a preliminary study about the bamboo slips of Chu calligraphy during the Warring States Period in order to explore the characteristics of the Chu handwritten form, which uses the Chu bamboo slips and chu silk book as the research objects,analyze the most typical materials among them Systematically.This article has the following several aspects:The introduction: This section introduces the discovery of Chu bamboo slips in recent decades, states the research significance briefly.It puts forward the main research methods and ideas based on the Document Literature and research results of Chinese ancient writing and calligraphy.Chapter 1: Analyze the common the Art qualities of the handwriting of Chu bamboo slips from the aspects of Pen methods and Chinese characters structures in detail based on the research of the bamboo slips unearthed from Zeng Houyi tomb,Guo Dian tomb,Bao Shan tomb and collected by Shanghai Museum. Inspect how to use the writng brush,Chinese characters structures and writing style,state the culture, social customs and habits of Chu Dynasty behind the style and Writing tools, the writing carrier and writing habits of pre-Qin Dynasty in brief Only from the perspective of writing.Chapter 2: Clear up and study Chu silk book –the other variety of Chu handwriting materials.Compare the Chu bamboo slips with Chu silk book, make a preliminary discussion about Chu handwriting system.
