Quantifier is a lexical category is very important in the Sino Tibetan language family,is one of the characteristics of the Sino Tibetan family.Although Chinese and Burmese belong to Sino Tibetan language,but Chinese quantifiers not only quantity,the use of high frequency,and the usage of complex.So the measure word is the most important and difficult point in the teaching of the Chinese language,which is the most important and difficult problem for foreigners to learn Chinese.Chinese were modified with different animals commonly used classifiers have "head","horse","only","a" and "tail","mouth","peak" and set quantifiers "group","Wo","nest","on","line",while the Burmese only "(?)","(?)","(?)","(?)".This is also caused by Burmese students learning classifier,often use the Chinese word "only" and "bar","head" and "match" does not divide the phenomenon of pragmatic errors.In addition to Chinese Quantifier noun collocation,word order,grammatical,semantic and pragmatic aspects in all and Burmese languages have the similarities and differences,so Chinese quantifiers caused one of the difficulties in the Burmese students learning Chinese.The Mianhan animal quantifier in common use as the research object,from the two quantifier semantic classification,grammatical,syntactic position,quantifiers overlap the use of point of view were comparative study,hope that research results of Burmese students learning Chinese in the future to help.The main research contents of this paper include:In the first chapter,it describes the purpose and significance of the study,research methods and the research situation of this topic.The second chapter,Chinese quantifiers of burma.According to the literature survey,the Chinese and Burmese classifiers are classified,and the grammatical functions and semantic features of Chinese and Burmese classifiers are summarized.The third chapter,the comparative study of Chinese and Burmese animal measure words.For statistical classifiers first of Chinese and Burmese languages can and animals collocation is used,from the point of view of grammar of Chinese "number + quantity + noun" structure and Burmese "name + number + Classifier" structure analysis,comparative quantifiers overlap a AA and a A a A type,and some Chinese and Burmese animal quantifier special special grammatical collocation.And explain Chinese "only","head","bar","match","mouth","group","line","on" and "(?)","(?),"(?)","(?)" and other words of the semantic features of animal classifier.The fourth chapter,aiming at the problems existing in the primary teaching and the countermeasures.This part mainly puts forward the difficulties encountered by primary students in Burma when they learn Chinese measure words.It is the reason of the difficulty.To find out the deviation phenomenon of the students when using measure words and the teaching reference.Conclusion: The conclusion part summarizes the whole research,and points out the problems existing in the study and the further research ideas.
