Culture-loaded animal words refer to the animal words that contain cultural information in the vocabulary system of a language.In the long history of Chinese language development,many culture-loaded animal words with unique characteristics have been formed.Chinese culture-loaded animal words have rich sources of additional cultural meanings.First,some culture-loaded animal words are derived from people's life experience.In the interaction with animals,Chinese people have a sense of the living characteristics of the animals and make abstract generalizations,thus entering the language system and becoming an important part of Chinese vocabulary.Second,some culture-loaded animal words are derived from myths and legends.The Chinese people,based on their own understanding and imagination,have invented many animals that do not exist in reality.The vocabulary related to these animals has more abundant cultural information,which reflects the historical tradition,moral ethics,values and aesthetic customs of the Chinese people.Third,some culture-loaded animal words are derived from literary works.Unlike the animal created in myths and legends,most of the animal created in literary works are representative of the Chinese national culture mentality.Of course,in traditional literature,there are also many animal words from inheritance.China and Japan are neighbors separated by a strip of water.They have a very close relationship in geography,history,race and other aspects.As a result,China and Japan have a cultural origin of nearly three thousand years.This is also reflected in the culture-loaded animal words between Chinese and Japanese.There are a large number of culture-loaded animal words in Japanese that have the same form as those in Chinese.Although some of them have lost their original meaning,the historical information of cultural exchanges has been preserved.The central theme of international education of Chinese language is cultural exchange,communication and dissemination.Because Chinese vocabulary system contains many cultural information,vocabulary teaching is an important channel to realize this central theme,which determines the irreplaceable value of vocabulary teaching in international education of Chinese language.Due to the unique generation and origin,animal vocabulary is not only universal in human life,but also different in cultural tradition and practical experience,as well as interesting in language cognition and acquisition.Therefore,animal vocabulary should occupy an important position in vocabulary teaching.However,because of this,the teaching of culture-loaded animal words has always been one of the difficulties,no matter teachers' explanation or students' acquisition.The teaching object of this research is Japanese students.Firstly,the culture-loaded animal words are summarized and classified,then the similarities and differences of some typical culture-loaded animal words between Chinese and Japanese are analyzed,finally put forward the corresponding teaching strategies and methods for Japanese students.
