Practice Exploration On Decoration Art Of Lotus-themed Chinese Painting

There is a long history of Chinese lotus culture, as the embodiment of ideal personality, lotus has always been loved by Chinese literati due to its charm of outstanding and extraordinary character. As while the auspicious meanings of lotus confirms of Chinese aesthetic taste and spiritual pursuit.Based on the practice of contemporary Chinese ink painting, this paper will explore and study how to interpret the lotus culture with new viewpoints by applying lotus ink painting on the decorative art. At the same time, this practice made the art of lotus ink painting become more popular.In total, this paper is constituted by for parts. The first chapter analyses the situation of decorative art via the market investigation which is based on the significance of analysis on this topic. In the second chapter, I expound how I sketch nature by the lotus pond and elaborate various attempts of Chinese painting creation of this theme.
