Human nature is the fundamental of the collision and communication between different cultures and civilizations.This point,in the integration of Christian culture and Chinese traditional culture,the Western civilization and Eastern civilization in near modern,has been vividly reflected As a famous theologian to integrate Christian theology and Chinese traditional culture,for T.C.Chao, there is no label more important than "human":First of all,he is a person,then,he could be an intellectual,social activist, theologian.Moreover,his thinking,research and improvement of all theological theories are based and developed on human nature (among them,the pragmatism is his methodology,and the search for the meaning of human life is the fundamental purpose of this methodology).Therefore,in this paper,the exploration and research of T.C.Chao's theology is also based on humanity,development in human nature.On this basis, this paper adopts the research mode of 'the substitution of the role', with three groups of the 20th century Chinese intellectuals,19-20 century Christian theologian type intellectuals and 19-20 century Chinese Christian theologians type intellectuals) as the main object of reference, combined with the Yihetuan movement, Confucian imperial examination of the recession and the rise of the new church school and early years of the Republic of China between Christianity and Confucianism in struggle, including the new culture movement and the May 4th movement, non Christian movement, two world wars and other major historical events of sinolization of Christianity,to analyze Zhao's theology and the uniqueness of the causes in-depth.
