In the modern society after enlightenment, social morality has become an obvious problem. Mclintyre proposed to find out a new life style in Aristotle context which differs the individualism and utilitarianism today. With such a life style, people are able to establish a true connection, a relation that help unite the group and individual in an organic manner and avoid the humanist deficiency and the dilemma frustration brought for individuals under the background of modern society so that enlightenment could be really de-enchanted. This ethical principle which is strongly critical to modern culture coincides with many Marxism views. Mclintyre's claim to return to the old communitarianism is not a progressive idea in modern society, but a reform, and has certain theoretical defect; however, this idea produces some theoretical significance in the solution of current social problems and is able to provide some revelation for the development of Marxist ethics.
