The Study On Relief Of Refugees Moved To Shaanxi Province From Henan During The Period Of Anti-Japanese War

The refugee relief problem during the period of Anti-Japanese War is an important subject of research on modern Chinese social history. In recent years, with more in-depth studies of the relief of regional refugees, a series of achievements have been made. However, the relief problems of cross-regional refugees during this period are rarely involved in academia, especially the lack of systematic research on the relief problems of refugees who move to Shaanxi province from Henan province during this period.By sorting and analyzing files and data, centering around the relief of refugees who move to Shaanxi province from Henan province during the period of Anti-Japanese War, this paper investigates refugee relief agencies, relief organizations, and relief policies as well as their implementations. It summarizes the historical experience and lessons in order to provide references for current relief work of cross-regional refugees.This paper consists of six parts. The introduction describes the background and significance, explaining the reasons why the author chooses this subject and its research value. Then, this part sorts out the research situation of the refugee relief problem in academia, and introduces this paper's research strategies, methods and historical material sources. In the end, it also defines the "refugees" in this paper and its related space-time conceptions. The second chapter explores and analyzes the reasons for the appearance of refugees from Henan province during the period of Anti-Japanese War from two aspects of nature and society.The third chapter investigates the relief agencies and organizations for refugees who move to Shaanxi province. The fourth chapter is the core part of this paper. It analyzes and summarizes the specific measures adopted by government relief agencies and non-governmental charitable relief organizations to relieve refugees who move to Shaanxi province from Henan province from six aspects in depth. The fifth chapter delves into relief efforts of special groups who move to Shaanxi province from a microscopic perspective, such as children, women and exiled intellectuals..The last chapter evaluated the work of relief Henan refugees.
