Under the influence of global economic and cultural communication,China plays an important role in the world.For recent twenty years,the number of people who come to China to study Chinese is increasing year by year and teaching Chinese as a foreign language(TCFL)has received more and more attention and expectation.That means the related demand for teaching resources is constantly expanding,such as teaching materials of TCFL,the teachers and so on.In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the quality of teaching materials is directly related to the realization of the final teaching effect.Therefore,the research of teaching materials was necessary.From the perspective of historical development,The compile of TCFL materials for foreign languages began in the 1950 s,after 30 years of exploration and development,it has formed a comprehensive and sub skill training mode in 1980 s.Most of the teaching materials are non-national and universal type,which covers initial,middle and high levels of difficulty.The Developing Chinese series are textbooks compiled by domestic initial recognition of higher teaching Chinese,the since the second edition of the Developing Chinese Elementary Comprehensive Course has been used by domestic colleges and universities as a necessary material.But the study on the practice of the textbook has not attracted much attention.During the internship of the university,by the long-term observation of the exercise of teaching materials for the students in the university,the author found that many students take the attitude of "selective" on the exercise of material,and part of the exercise is ineffective and has low use-rate.What's more,by collecting the feed back information of using the material from students and teachers utilization,the author found that part of the exercise of the material still has some problems need to improve after the revised of the material.Therefore,the paper takes "Developing Chinese Elementary Comprehensive Course"(Second Edition)as the research object,and make a inspection on the exercise of the textbook..Firstly,the basic situation of practice setting of the teaching materials is summarized from four aspects: the number of exercises,the questions and the contents and the sequence of the layout.Then,from the internal and external,use three aspects of comprehensive analysis of teaching material practice effectiveness,and combined with the questionnaire investigation of the students,teachers,and to explore examination paper analysis.Finally,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching material practice part development,optimization Suggestions for improving the effectiveness of practice problems,offer Chinese as a foreign language teaching practice in our country's development has the reference value to the point of view.
