Research On The Decoration Features And Cultural Value Of The Zhu Xian Town Woodcut New Year Paintings

New year is leading Chinese folk art,Kaifeng,Henan Zhuxian Town is the source of Chinese new year history,China’s folk art tens of thousands,but pictures is the first,Zhuxian Town woodblock New Year pictures as the originator of the woodcut,rooted in the common people’s life.In the long agricultural society,what people praised highly was farming culture and they created and preserved rich intangible cultural heritages.The New Year’s picture in Zhuxian town of Kaifeng city,which has a unique art style,is one of them.It is not only the spiritual sustenance of people,but also the important medium of the dissemination of cultures.The New Year’s picture,created in line with the folk activities,reflects the life of people and embodies the culture of the nation.It conveys the traditional religion,aesthetics and values in China.This thesis will introduce the formation and development of the New Year’s picture in Zhuxian town of Kaifeng city,analyze its production processes and elements from the perspective of folk loristics and explore its importance to the traditional culture in the society with rapid-developing economy and multiple cultures.Zhuxian Town woodblock art form in the Song Dynasty,the transformation from the Spring Festival couplets,its production is woodblock printing color,pigment used in printing are pure Chinese medicine processing and become,bright and colorful,long do not fade.Zhuxian Town woodcut style inherited the painting art of the Han and Tang Dynasties rhyme,the picture composition is full,rough lines,the theme is clear,vivid image,with rich local color and simple style of the nation.Theme and content are drawn to dramatic stories,historical stories,myths,romance novels and folk legends,common wood paintings theme:keeper class(such as civil and military goalkeeper,Samsung door),New Year pictures class(such as nave painting,Doufang,painting),window painting class,light painting class(lantern painting,palace lantern,painting),painting classes(whisk paper around the table,paint),statues,class(figure of Buddha,the kitchen god).The from multiple aspects,on the basis of existing research results of academia,focusing on from the decorative features,cultural value,packaging design of decorative and applied research,the Zhuxian Town woodcut decorative and cultural value were in-depth study and in the understanding,all aspects of the understanding of Zhuxian Town woodcut unique artistic style and give us great artistic value.
