Rural Cultural Ecosystem Services Indicators Framework Establishment And Case Study On Four Villages

Since the Industrial Revolution,human society develops with high-speed and it brings huge economic benefits to people,but it also brings us with huge damage for our natural environment where people live,there are also many environment problems.For example,vegetation degeneration,water pollution,soil erosion,biodiversity loss and fog.These problems make people be aware of the danger to society caused by ecosystem services function loss and ecological asset loss,so the ecosystem services assessment becomes the focused issue.Current research on ecosystem services are mainly concentrated in large scale,only few research focused on rural scale.Duo to the cultural ecosystem services are abstract,it is difficult to assess its monetry value,tends to be ignored in the study of ecosystem services assessment.Current study mainly focused on supporting services,provisioning services and regulating services which can be easily assessed and its methods are more perfect.Rural ecosystem is the foundation of social and economic development and it is the important part of ecosystem,it also plays an important role in the maintaining cultural diversity,inheriting traditional cultural heritage,easing the pressure of modern life,touching the nature,keeping health,so research on rural cultural ecosystem services is important.This article attempts to build rural cultural ecosystem services indicators system framework with considering the assessment methods from other researchers and applying these methods to study area,in order to make up the inadequacy of research at small scale and provide decision-maker with theoretical support in rural land use planning and sustainable development of rural area.First of all,creating the rural cultural ecosystem services indicator system framework with domestic and foreign research achievements about cultural ecosystem services and the characteristic of rural area in China,at the same time,with rural land use combined and improving the method to form cultural ecosystem services assessment method at rural scale.Second,design questionnaires and do pre-survey before improving the questionnaire.Finally,do the case study in Fanggan village,Anziwan village,Fujiazhuang village and Huashan village of Laiwu city,China.The results show that the assessment method and indicator system framework can apply to rural cultural ecosystem services assessment.Above all,the assessment method and indicators system framework in this article is scientific and applicable.It can provide theoretical support for rural cultural ecosystem services assessment,land use planning and sustainable development in China.
