A Study On Mongolian Hadag Culture

Anthropology divides culture into material culture,spiritual culture and institutional culture.The study of related objects and material culture is not only concerned with the material object itself,but also the behavior and the concept of people behind the material.Mongolian Hadag culture is Hadag as the center of the Mongolian characteristics of the etiquette culture.Hadag is an important ceremonial item in the social life of the Mongolian people.It not only regards Hadag as a ceremonial instrument and a gift of social relations,but also ritual supplies of the sacred ritual.Therefore,the study of Mongolian Hadag culture will help to enhance the understanding of the Mongolian traditional culture,values and behavior.This study takes the Mongolian in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as an example,and elaborates and analyzes of the Mongolian Hadag culture from the perspective of anthropology and the combination of fieldwork and literature research.This article first introduces the profile of the Mongolian Hadag culture,discuss the origin and history of Hadag,color and pattern,as well as Hadag's etiquette and taboo and so on.Then,Hadag was placed in the context of the Mongolian ritual life,and describe the use of Hadag in various rituals.Finally,analyzes the cultural role of Hadag in Mongolian social life,interprets the symbolic meaningcontained in Hadag culture and explores the social and cultural functions of Hadag culture.This study's main conclusions are as follows: Hadag plays a different cultural role between the ritual of communication with the gods and the ritual of communication with people.The one role is ritual supplies of the sacred ritual,the second is used for interpersonal ritual supplies and gifts.Hadag as the core symbol of etiquette culture,contains gratitude,prayer,tribute,blessing and other symbolic significance.Hadag culture carries the cultural concept of the nation,values ??and emotional memory,so it has the function of cultural performances,cultural identity and cultural heritage.At the same time,Hadag culture has the function of transmitting social value and maintaining social relations.
