Study On The Primitive Domestic Architecture In Ganqing Region

The primitive architectures created by human are the places where human activities happened,which contains a lot of information about the ancient society.With the shift of the archaeological research focus,looking at the past from a new perspective has been an irresistible trend and which will in turn broaden our horizon about the ancient society.Because of the special location,the climate environment in the Ganqing region is more sensitive and fragile,which means the human activities are also more susceptible to the nature in this area.Since the 1920s,the archaeologists have been working in this region around 100 years and the chronology of the archaeological culture also has been basically established.Thus,human-land relationship in the prehistoric period has become one of the main objectives.However,the scholars preferred to create a simple correspondence between the environment and the evolution of archeological culture,while the mechanism and concrete manifestation of its influence have not been discussed in depth.This paper is an attempt to this question,under the perspective of the household archaeology.The paper is divided into six parts.Part ?:Introduction.The paper will first introduce the research background,define the time and spatial frame,and explain the theory and methodology of this paper.Part ?:Chronology of Archaeological Culture.Firstly,this part divides Ganqing region into two different regions:the upper reaches of the Weihe River and the Hehuang area.Then,this part will focus on the literature review and the Chronology of Archaeological Culture.Part ?:Discovery and Evolution of Architectural Remains.In this part,the author will list all the primitive architecture remains in this area and then order them by the size,summaries the Evolution of Architectural Relics.Part ?:Analysis of Typical Remains from the Perspective of Households.This part will start with introducing the concept of household,which is also the theoretical basis of this chapter.Then,taking indoor zoning and average area into consideration,aiming at reflecting the disintegration and differentiation of social organization in primary level behind the evolution of architectural relics mentioned above.Part ?:Relationship between Architectural Changes?Environment and Subsistence.This chapter reconstructed the ancient environment in Ganqing region.In addition to the subsistence in different period,we try to set up a "bridge" between environmental changes and social organizations.Part ?:Conclusion.First of all,summarizing the main points and conclusions of this paper,which is the environment played an important role in the evolution of social organizations,and the evolution of primitive architecture was not only the production of environmental changes,but also the reflection of social organizations.Besides,this paper will summarize the problems and shortcomings of this paper.
