On Heaven And Human:A Philosophical Analysis Of "Exerting Mind And Knowing Nature" In Mencius

Based on the states of Mencius's original text and classic commentaries,this paper reinterprets and expounds the chapter of Mencius' s "exerting mind and knowing nature" from the perspective of the relationship between heaven and human on the basis of fully drawing on the research results of modern Mencius.Mencius rarely speaks" heaven ",and his understanding of "heaven" presented by means of human discourse.Through the analysis of the chapter of "exerting mind and knowing nature",the author finds that "heaven" is neither an objective entity nor a property.It is the origin of all things,not only gave birth to the external form of all things,but also gives all things beyond the external limitations of the inherent nature.Additional human hold the world of Reiki and aura which can be ranked the top one,the reason is that human can yogavacara to themselves with the nature of talent.This paper distinguishes two dimensions between transcendence and reality.In case of transcendence all things can be detached from the existing limits which are easy to flow in vague;as for it points the finite existence,all things are different,however,in the real visible.The combination of the two and one is the state of"heaven" if there is bias,it is the realm of "human".Based on this vision,Mencius in the transcendent level of "the exhausting of all the mental constitution to know nature and Heaven","preserve one's mental constitution to nourish nature and serve Heaven"time in reality,and finally achieve the balance between human and Heaven in the process of" establish human's Heaven-ordained being by self-cultivation".
