Since the entry into digital times,various aspects in people's life have been marked with stigma of digital technique,among which the literature is included.Digital technique has not only changed creation environment,transmission environment and aesthetic environment of literature,but has also changed mode of literary consumption,and endowed the literary consumption with a series of new characteristics under the digital context.This article takes literary consumption behavior under digital context as research object,and has investigated literary consumption behavior from four aspects such as social context of modern literary consumption,characteristics of literary consumption,factors affecting literary consumption as well as difficulties and outlet of literary consumption.The research has firstly elaborated background and meaning of the subject,and made a brief introduction on concept of literary consumption,then discussed current status of literary consumption,and has thus laid theoretical foundation for following discussions.The first part has discussed social context of current literary consumption as a whole.In the digital subsistence era,the unceasingly updating literary transmission media has promoted different literary consumption patterns,especially consumerism consciousness ideology generated and transmitted by mass communication media,has been affecting literary consumption behavior profoundly.The second part has introduced five main features of literary consumption under digital context.Namely: “virtualization” of literary consumption environment;“popularization” of literary consumption content;“planification” of literature consumption subjects;“recreation” of literary consumption purpose and“pictorialization” of literary consumption mode.The third part has made detailed analysis on influence factors of literary consumption under digital context.Literary consumption is a significant aspect of literary life,and this article has discussed influence factors of literary consumption from literary production,literary transmission and literary aesthetics.The fourth part has put forward specific strategies based on thinking about difficulties of literary consumption brought forth by digitalization.It is a matter of factor that literary consumption has been confronting a series of difficulties in the digital era,in the following representation such as elimination of literariness by digital technique and “consumption gap” caused by “digital gap”.In order to deal with difficulties of literary consumption under digital context,we have to build harmony environment for literary creation and communication,to follow trend of times and to realize common prosperity of “image” and “context”.
