The Design Practice Of The Exhibition Of Chahai Site Museum

The site museum,based on the archaeological excavating site,is built on the southwest of the site.Fuxin Chahai Site Museum was established in 1992,based on the settlement site about 8000 years ago,which was found and excavated in the late 1980 s and in the early 1990 s.The establishment of the museum played an important role in promoting the long history of Chinese civilization,Chinese jade and dragon culture.However,limited by the conditions of the design age and the understanding of the connotation of the site,the exhibition design has obviously lagged behind the development of the times,increasingly unable to attract and educate the audience,so it is necessary to further explore and improve its exhibition.This article starts with the understanding of the concept,design principles,design methods and technical means of the ruins museum,through the field investigation and research on the site of the Museum and comparative analysis of the original exhibition outline,summarize the shortcomings of Chahai Site Museum' present exhibition and further explore its modification.Finally,the exhibition design's concept,design principles,design methods and technical means,which are suitable for the site museum,are applied to the exhibition design of Chahai Site Museum,putting forward a new design idea,which will show the cultural connotation and characteristics of the site to the public.
