Investigation And Research Of The Current Situation Of Shanxi Provincial Site Museum

For the 4 decades since the reform and opening up,with the continuous reinforce of Chinese comprehensive national strength,the supports and investments of China to cultural undertakings have constantly strengthened.Since the concept of “Heritage Sites” protection was introduced,the construction speed of the site museum and the National Archaeological Site Park has been significantly improved,and a large number of high-quality Site Museums and National Archaeological Sites Parks have been opened to the public.Shanxi Province is well known as the province of cultural relics,which has a profound historical heritage and cultural connotation.The four sites in Shanxi Province-Qucun-Tianma Site,Pujindu and Puzhou Ancient City,Taosi Site and Jinyang Ancient City Site have been listed into the list of National Archaeological Sites Park.However,so far no national archaeological park have been built.Compared to other provinces in the country,the work of protecting large sites in Shanxi is in an inferior stage.This is an important reason for the formation of this paper.How to speed up the construction of site museums and National Archaeological Sites and how to better protect,display and utilize important sites are the research directions of this paper.This paper sorts out the status quo of Twenty-four site museums in Shanxi Province.Besides that the paper summarizes the characteristics of the Shanxi site museum and then puts forward the problems faced by Shanxi Provincial Site Museum.Through the comparison with the excellent site museums at abroad,the paper discusses the points that Shanxi Provincial Site Museum needs to improve in the future.
