Comment On Habermas’s Post-metaphysical Thinking

Metaphysics – the central issues of the philosophy has been the focus of people’s attention and controversy since the birth of philosophy,which is always a big question in the minds of philosophers,it has gone through the changes of the times,and it still witnessed the rise and fall of the philosophy and its development.But in the 20 th century,the traditional metaphysics have showed a lot of shortcomings under the background of the new era,these shortcomings have shook the status of traditional metaphysical.Metaphysics encountered the fate of being deconstructed and opposed,and also suffered the intense anti-metaphysical wave.For this,Habermas,who is the second generation leader of Frankfurt School,carried out new annotation and reconstruction for the traditional metaphysics in the point of Marxist philosophy,pull the metaphysics back to practical level from the priori level.The article introduces the produce and historical change of the metaphysics firstly,and then elaborates the basic premise of the post-metaphysical.Thus write out the transgender transition of Habermas which is from traditional subjectivity to the intersubjectivity and from past instrumental rationality to the communicative rationality under the guidance of Marx’s philosophical theory.The essential feature of the post-metaphysical thought is to overcome the old traditional metaphysical subject and object thinking mode,emphasizing its digestion of the rationality of transcendental subjects and subjects.After digesting the traditional subjectivity,Habermas pointed out that rational,especially instrumental rationality which we explore is divorced from the real life,unrealistic and not correct.Thus Habermas put forward a practical reason-a rationality which rooted in the living world.At this point,Habermas completed another major transition of his post-metaphysical thinking.In this sense,post-metaphysical theory point out a reasonable way of existence and the way out for philosophy.Habermas’ s post-metaphysical theory found a balance between traditional metaphysics and modern anti-metaphysics.Habermas’ s Post-metaphysical thought is not on the purpose of dispel the traditional metaphysics,it gives rebirth to traditional metaphysics and inject the new energy which conform to the reality of modernity.Habermas’ s post-metaphysical thought not only analyzes the dilemma of traditional metaphysics from the inner theory but also combine its fate with contemporary society,giving the metaphysics more possibilities and diversified trends under the background of modernity.Post-metaphysics plays an important role and has epoch-making significance in today’s society.It can be said that Habermas’ s post-metaphysical theory not only helps us to understand the evolution of philosophy in the 20 th century,but also one of the only ways to grasp the direction of the philosophy in the 21 stcentury.
