The Research Of The Zither And Poetry Of The Tang And Song Dynasty

The open and ardour Tang dynasty,and the rational and reserved Song dynasty,not only cultivated the wonderful poetry,but also pullulated the all other artistic form.Among this,as the traditional stringed instruments,zither were all the rage at the time due to its unique artistic characteristics.To begin with,this paper presents the source and shape as well as its development in the Tang and song dynasty,Then,the paper discussed that as the representative instrument of the voice of qin,the zither had a intimate connection with the literary tradition from the pre-Qin period to the Song dynasty.Furthermore,the paper clears up the zither musical composition in the poetry of the Tang and Song Dynasty and illustrate the relation of the zither musical composition and the Ci poetry from three aspects:the zither musical composition and the tunes of Ci poetry,the zither musical composition in the poetry of the Tang and Song Dynasty,the singing of the Ci poetry.At the end,the paper analyzed the description of the zither musical composition in the poetry of the Tang and Song Dynasty from the aesthetic aspect and summed up it as the symbol of love,as the sad melody of the hero,as the mindset of adherents.In conclusion,the inspection on the zither in the poetry of the Tang and Song Dynasty could enrich the ancient music history and the ancient Chinese aesthetics history and contributes to the construction of the zither history and the development of the contemporary zither musical.
