The Studies Of Mongolian Felt Embroidery Art

This thesis purposes to study and analyze the formal and aesthetic characteristics of Mongolian felt embroidery art, to interpret its historical origin and development process, and especially the reasons why this kind of art can be inherited through the changes of dynasties till now, to find and analyze the problems of Mongolian felt embroidery art in its process of development. Through analyzing Mongolian felt embroidery art and combining practices and innovation, this paper aims at advancing protection, heritage and innovation development of Mongolian culture in a point-to-area way.In the process of collecting text materials and interviewing West Ujumuchin Mongolian felt embroidery art inheritors, a mass of manufacturing methods and works of various kinds of felt embroidery were found, like Mongolian yurt felt embroidery, felt clothes, felt boots, felt part of saddle, camel felt, to find their common grounds and the outstanding ethnic characters of form and content, to interpret the artistic value and spiritual connotation included in Mongolian felt embroidery art.Mongolian felt embroidery art has a history over thousand years, from ancient Hun time felt embroidery to today's Mongolian felt embroidery art works, they all possess unique form and content, and main carrier and important objects to beautify life for Mongolian people. However, Mongolian felt embroidery art is facing a bottleneck state, which Mongolian people should pay attention to, and thoughts of heritage and development should be considered carefully, and carried out. And i am determined to become a leader with distinguished Mongolian art features.
