The art master Pierre Bonnard (Pierre Bonnard,1867-1947) known as "the Magican of Color" is one of the representative artists of the Nabis. He created a dream world for viewers by capturing pictures of life's little moments with keen insight and sizing the fleeting wonderful time. Pierre Bonnard soaked up other school's advantages and do some comprehensive explorations to form his own unique artistic style in the complex art trends by the end of the nineteenth century. Although art is the portrayal and extraction of our ordinary life, Pierre Bonnard's pictures are not the reappearance of objective life. Pierre Bonnard injected his personal emotion experience into art creation and emphasized the expression of self emotion. This thesis aims at elucidating the artistic aesthetic of the language of construction form and light and color of Pierre Bonnard's works.
