The Study Of Bonnard Painting Art

Pierre Bonnard (French,1867-1947) is an outstanding painter at the end of the19thcentury and early of20th century in France,is also the main representative of Nabi party.Based on the expression of art characteristics, analysis, this article shows his unique artisticcharacteristics, and introduces the impressionist, Nabi party and Japanese yamato-epaintings theory’s influences on him, and compares their differences, studied and comparedwith gauguin, seurat and Cezanne in the aspects of the structure and techniques of thepainting. Through his innovative and practice find his unique artistic way, and have aprofound impact on the later paintings art. The main theme of the article starts from theartistic style, language elements, composition and form of the work, through comparativeanalysis of the works of Bonnard’s approach to the performance characteristics of the art ofpainting. His unique style of art gives a clear direction not only for the later study the art ofpainting,but also for contemporary artists’ painting, also has a guiding reference for thedevelopment of contemporary art.
