A Study Of Laixi Dialect Demonstratives

Laixi is located in the middle of shandong peninsula.Laixi dialect belongs to the north dialect area of the seven dialect area.And further divided into,it is a branch of donglai dialect of Jiaoliao dialect.The local special grammar phenomenons such as demonstrative interjections,the usage of demonstrative pronoun,degree indicators and the "height,size" and other special Compound words combination are worthy to study.There are few articles on the study of Laixi dialect and there are fewer researches on the study of Laixi demonstratives.In this paper,we take the Laixi demonstratives as the research object.On the basis of synchronic description to explore the functional usage of the demonstratives and describe the source and function of they in detail.And combineing with the modern Chinese in Shandong to diachronic investigation,combineing with Putonghua,Chinese dialect for synchronic investigation.Chapter 1 is a preliminary introduction to the geography,history,population,summary of research on Laixi dialect,phonetic system,ontological meaning of demonstratives,research status,theoretical research methods and related instructions of Laixi.Chapter 2 mainly describes the function of personal pronouns,including “an,zan,nen” and “renjia,ziji”.And to trace its origin.Chapter 3 is especially devoted to discussion function and source of Laixi demonstrative pronoun "this,that".To analyze the demonstrative pronoun in vernacular literature in Shandong during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Elaborated the extended function far pronoun "that".Chapter 4 is to describe the demonstrative interjections "nang".Analysis of the demonstrative interjections functions from the angle of font,character pronunciation and syntactic function.Chapter 5 describes in detail of the mode indicator,location indicator,quantity indicator and degree indicator.At the same time to explore the demonstratives in documents on Shandong Vernacular in Ming and Qing Dynasties and to trace partial demonstratives.Chapter 6 mainly makes the diachronic and synchronic contrast of Laixi demonstratives.Compared with the vernacular literature in Shandong during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and compared with the adjacent dialect area.In addition,we make a horizontal and vertical research.Chapter 7 is a conclusion and a discussion about shortcomings.
