| Carl Gustav Jung,the famous Swiss psychologist and the founder of analytical psychology,had once put forward a series of archetypal images,and formed a thorough archetype theory on this basis.The theory made great contributions to further understanding human’s psychological problems and the construction of human personality.In Jung’s archetype theory,archetypal images hide in the deep of human spirits,pose influences to human psychology and behavior,and are the representative of archetypes.In the theory,persona,shadow and individualization are the three important factors that realize the integration of personality.First of all,the thesis discusses the connotations of archetype theory.First,persona is the ideal self in personality that represents the side of personality that is publicly shown to the society.Second,shadow is the dark side of the human psyche that represents the evil side of human nature.Third,individualization is the integrated morality when the two archetypal images,persona and shadow,get integrated,and its function is to coordinate each components of human natural to achieve the unity,harmony and stability of personality,so as to reach self-realization.Jung’s archetype theory has great significance to the cognition of personality,and provides a theoretical support to the in-depth analysis and reflection to the misconduct phenomena of network personality in modern network society.It also provides a new viewpoint for resolving the misconducts of network personality and shaping a healthy network personality.Second,the thesis analyzes the characteristics,misconducts and causes of contemporary college students’ network personality based on Jung’s archetype theory.The network personality of college students is the psychological qualities and personality traits that form in the process of their network communication.As the most active group in network,college students show distinctive characteristics in their network personality.With the popularization of network technologies,the misconduct phenomena of college students’ network personality is on the growth,while the psychological illness and social diseases caused by network are increasing as well.From the viewpoint of Jung’s archetype theory,the misconducts of college students’ network personality basically perform in the following aspects: the over-expansion of the persona,the excessive release of shadow,and the lack of individualization.First,the misconducts of college students’ network personality caused by the over-expansion of the persona mainly presents as the moral hypocrisy in motivation and individualism in behavior.Second,the excessive release of shadow will easily cause impulses and irrational attacks of the college students,which produce cyber-violence with vent as the main purpose,and moral trial that projects the shadows not conforming to one’s own moral image to others.Third,the lack of individualization will easily produce the moral indifference in affections,Internet dependence in psychology and the loss of faith in values.The causes for the above-mentioned misconducts of college students’ network personality are mainly composed of two objective and subjective aspects.Under the objective trend that the network and social cultures gradually get integrated,the lack of spiritual values and the split of human spirit and nature are the major objective causes for the misconducts of college students’ network personality.Looking from within,the one-sided cognition to persona,the inhibition and denial to shadow,as well as the dissolution of individualization are the major subjective causes for the misconducts of college students’ network personality.Finally,based on Jung’s archetype theory,the thesis provides theoretical instructions and practical inspirations for the construction of college students’ healthy network personality.In the aspect of theoretical instructions,the significance of the archetype images to contemporary college students’ moral development should be realized.First,the reason for the moral education is to make each individual to adapt to different persona,and different social roles through setting up independent moral judgments,so as to arouse the respect for individual’s human nature.Second,through the recognition and acceptance to the shadow,moral education realizes the transformation and optimization of human nature so as to improve human consciousness.Last,whether to realize individualization is a key point for judging the result of moral education.Only to implement the ideas of "people-oriented" and "respect for human nature" can fit between individual needs and social needs to the greatest extent,so as to give full play to the individual values and social values,and finally realize the perfection of personality.In addition,the identity of network personality and realistic personality should be grasped,the moral integration of network personality should be constructed,so as to realize the convergence integration of college students’ both online and offline network personality,and to accomplish the return of individualization.In the aspect of practical inspirations,the construction of college students’ network personality needs the combined actions of both objective and subjective factors.In specific,the objective factors emphasize on the strengthening of the network psychological education and training,the creation of a healthy network environment,the normalization of network legislation.The subjective factors focus on the following three points: First,be adapted to the persona,and to realize the integration of both online and offline personality,to promote the coordination of college students’ ideal network self and realistic self,in order to have a clearer cognition about one’s role and to lay a solid foundation for socialization in the future;Second,to accept shadow,and to reduce the moral pressures,meanwhile encouraging students to transform their show;Third,to accept the nature of spirit and get onto the road to individualization.For this,college students should keep a positive cognition about the self-value and meanings in network,to set up psychological self-regulation and self-internalization mechanism of inner conflict from psychological level,so as to establish a judgment to the true,the good and the beautiful in network.In a word,the subjective changes can’t do without the support of objective environment.It is only both the subjective and objective interactions that can finally promote the healthy development of college students’ network personality. |
