The traditional teaching of collage writing emphasizes the correctness of linguistic forms and grammar.The traditional teaching mode is the main way,while the function of language and the individuation of students are neglected.Therefore,in the traditional writing classroom,teachers focus on the form,grammar and the basic structure of writing rather than writing strategy and textual function,and it leads to grammatical correction which is the form of feedback provided by teachers,And it is difficult to provide appropriate writing strategies and textual functional knowledge according to the individual differences of students.With the rapid development of technology,information,mobile and communication technologies,mobile phones,tablet PCs and other electronic devices enter the daily life of the public which are used by more and more people.As the application software of instant messaging,its functions and characteristics have the advantage of applying to college English teaching.The course design of college English teaching with We Chat as the medium also comes into being.The purpose of this paper is to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of using We Chat in collage writing.This paper introduces the research background and summarizes the research significance,research purpose and research problems.It reviews,scans and summarizes domestic and international research on EFL teaching model of theoretical framework,explicit teaching and mobile social networking.By combing the theories of input and output,interaction theory,attention hypothesis theory and constructivism theory,construct the theoretical framework of this paper.It applies We Chat to the design and practice of college writing teaching and analyzes the relevant data collected in teaching experiment.In the end the paper expounds the advantages and limitations of the application of We Chat in English writing,and also shows the prospect of future research.This paper applies the We Chat to the design of college writing teaching,and carries on the related teaching demonstration research.The results show that We Chat can help to construct virtual classroom for college English writing;multimedia teaching materials based on the We Chat writing class,and real-time teacher-student interaction and interaction between students can help students to strengthen the understanding of learning content,The English language input and output can be realized,and student 's role in the virtual classroom of English writing will be brought into full play,and learning cooperation and interaction in virtual classrooms will be improved.The research results affirm the educational function of We Chat applied to college writing,and have theoretical and practical significance for the future study of English writing teaching.
