The Expression Of Low Polygon Technique In Animation Scene Design

With the continuous development of the animation field and technology,more and more exquisite animation images are constantly presented,and the aesthetic appreciation of the audience is also constantly improving.In the current era of animation development,measuring the success of an animation increasingly values the exquisite degree of screen modeling.The modeling of characters and scenes generally pursues realism.However,in today’s era of pluralism,different artistic styles are gradually beginning to emerge,and a low polygon technique with a retro trend is becoming popular.This approach,which is different from using multiple faces to build models,but using low faces to build models with edges and corners,has begun to be used in animation design.Starting from the principle of visual perception,this paper focuses on the analysis of how the three aspects of low polygon will present the picture with artistic effect in the form of expression,and explores the application and embodiment of low polygon technique in short animation films from the perspective of the characteristics and properties of visual perception.This paper summarizes the characteristics of low polygon technique and the rule of animation artistry,and studies the deep reasons of style evolution.At the same time,there are few theories on low polygon research in China,so this paper will sort out and explore more theories on the basis of predecessors,and study the expression and application of low polygon technique in animation scenes according to literature research,comparative research and practice.Through research and practice,low polygon art is created to promote the diversified development of this art style,refine its minimalist and abstract characteristics,and explore and study the social significance behind low polygon,so as to create a richer artistic expression style.
