Two-part allegorical saying is a special language form created by people in the practice of life,which is simple,short and full of the wisdom and charm of Chinese language and culture,and it is an indispensably important part of Chinese traditional culture.With the change and development of the times,the two-part allegorical saying has gradually disappeared in the life of the new generation.To express two-part allegorical sayings with illustrations makes the two-part allegorical sayings have the characteristics of the new era,and also makes the illustrations have a distinctive ethnic characteristics.As a part of Chinese traditional culture,folk art has played an significant role in the history of our country,whose theme is various,whether in color or shape,it all represents the spirit and connotation of Chinese national culture.To combine the folk art elements with the illustrations for two-part allegorical sayings,can make these seemingly "old" elements emit new rays of light in innovation.This design takes the illustrations for two-part allegorical sayings as the theme,through the ways of combining the literature research with the practical research,to sort out the concept of two-part allegorical saying,and to explain the visualization performance of two-part allegorical saying,which can be helpful for people to have a better understanding on the two-part allegorical saying,and can find an effective way for the two-part allegorical saying in the inheritance of contemporary life.Through the explanation for the elements of traditional folk art--the elements of Taohuawu xylograph New Year picture,to analyze the advantage value of combining the folk art with the illustrations for two-part allegorical sayings,to let the tradition collide with the tradition,to create illustrations with national characteristics,so as to arouse the people to recognize their native culture.This design creation report of graduation thesis is composed of four parts.The first part is the design requirement report,first of all,the author defines the creation form through market research,secondly,the author makes comparative analysis of the illustration background of using traditional elements at home and abroad,which will lay the foundation for the graduation creation.The second part is the research report of literature theory,firstly,the author expounds the concept of the two-part allegorical saying,then,explains that the two-part allegorical saying needs the interaction of pictures and text to have better interpretation and dissemination,and to combine the elements of traditional folk art--the elements of Taohuawu xylograph New Year picture with the illustrations for two-part allegorical sayings is an interesting innovation of traditional culture.The third part is the design production process report,which is mainly composed of three parts: the design basis,design elaboration and implementation process.The previous market research and literature research provide a theoretical basis for the creation,which make the author can be better to explore for the work during the design implementation process.The fourth part is the summary of design research,through combining the theory with the practice,the author improves the learning ability,at the same time,the author makes profound consideration on the creation process of the design,which can further deepen the research and exploration of the illustration creation for the two-part allegorical saying.The two-part allegorical saying and Taohuawu xylograph New Year picture elements contain rich essence of traditional culture,which still keep a pure and simple origin after thousands of years of social change.With today's social transformation,the traditional culture is on the verge of crisis,the heritage and protection are hanging over our head.Through the illustration creation for two-part allegorical saying,the author hopes to enrich the form language of modern illustration with traditional form,in the meanwhile,to have better inheritance and development for the highlights of traditional culture.
