An Analysis Of Feng Zikai's Idea Of Artistic Life

Feng Zikai is not only one of the most influential artist in modern history of China but also one of the forerunners and builders of Chinese modern art education and artistic aesthetics.The research on Feng Zikai at home and abroad is rich,but the specific research on his artistic outlook on life is still rare.This thesis takes Feng Zikai's artistic outlook on life as the research object,discusses the origin,basic connotation as well as main characteristic of his idea of artistic life,and analyzes the contemporary significance of Feng Zikai's artistic outlook on life.The whole text is divided into five chapters.The preface introduces the purpose and the significance of this topic,summarizes the research status of Feng Zikai's idea of artistic life and states the research methods.The second chapter discusses the origins of Feng Zikai's idea of artistic life from two aspect,namely the traditional Chinese Culture and western aesthetic ideology.The third chapter sums up the Feng's thinking about childlike innocence,conscious mind and art heart in order to probing the connotation of Feng Zikai's idea of artistic life.The fourth chapter discusses the important features of Feng Zikai's idea of artistic life.First,the child's heart and buddha-mind has been harmoniously integrated in Feng's outlook.Second,the vivid expression of the art of life and the artistic life.The fifth chapter states the enlightenment of Feng's idea of artistic life on contemporary art practice.He advocated that teachers should respect children's nature and interest in art education,and art should be tought not only in school but also in life etc,which still mean a lot to Chinese education practice.Feng's artistic outlook of life has provided a way on how to find the beauty of daily life,and how to build a harmonious poetic life.
