The Study Of Zhao Jingshen's Research On The Ancient Novel

Zhao Jingshen is not only a famous translator,publisher,author,historian in China,he is also an extraordinary specialist in the study of popular literature.His study covers traditional opera,ancient novel and folk literature,like the fairy tale,guci,"yuchuanyuan" and so on.He is accomplished in all of them.However,academic circles for its research mainly concentrated in the translation,traditional opera,folk literature.They pay very little attention to the ancient novel.Therefore,this paper will focus on research and discuss the study of Zhao Jingshen on the ancient novel.Based on Zhao Jingshen's study on the ancient novel,this paper will work from four parts to explore it's academic achievements,significance and influence.The first chapter will describe the academic life of Zhao Jingshen,mainly on how to step the way of study on the ancient novel,as well as it's academic achievements.The following three chapters choose three aspects from many achievement of Zhao Jingshen to make discussion.The second chapter will identity his contribution in research on academic history from the Zhao Jingshen' s evaluation and research,as well as his study to Talk's classification of the Song dynasty.Zhao Jingshen not only establishes the status of Lu Xun as a historian on novel,and also continues Lu Xun' s research with his rest of life.Zhao Jingshen makes a great contribution to the research of Lu Xun.The third chapter focuses on Zhao Jingshen's textology research.Several his most remarkable achievements are picked: the chronicle of Xia Jingqu and Wu Cheng'en,the prototype of ?Biography of Hero???precious Mirror???Sing-Song girls of Shanghai?and ?A Flower in a Sea of Sin?.The final chapter is about Zhao's achievement in philology research,and takes the“San Yan Er Pai”?and chinese ancient jokes as the examples.
