On Zhao Jingshen's Study Of Folk Literature

Zhao Jingshen is one of the pioneers and founders of folk literature in the early 20th century in China.He is also a member of the popular literature field after Zheng Zhenduo.His research fields touched on ancient Chinese opera,novels,folk literature(fairy tales,folk tales)and literary arts(songs,drums,cross talks,allegro)and many other aspects.Not only that,he also has outstanding achievements in creation and translation.However,most of his current researches in his academic circles focus on his translation and opera theory,but people's research on his folk literature still lacks systematic discussion.This paper mainly discusses the research achievements of Zhao Jingshen's folk literature,and discusses his academic achievements and influences in folk literature from four aspects:The first chapter "Zhao Jingshen and the study of folk literature in the 20th century":This chapter firstly combs the development process of the history of folk literature research in the 20th century.Secondly,it introduces Zhao Jingshen's life and his path of folk literature research,as well as his views and views on folk literature.The second chapter "Zhao Jingshen's Study of Fairy Tales":Firstly,the author explored the background of the study of fairy tales.On the one hand,it was influenced by Western anthropological theory at the time,on the other hand,it was the enlightenment and guidance of Zheng Zhenduo and Zhou Zuoren on his study of fairy tales.Secondly,from the four aspects of the concept of fairy tales,the division and classification of fairy tales,the variation of fairy tales and the anthropological interpretation of fairy tales to emphasize Zhao Jingshen's study of fairy tales.Thirdly,Zhao Jingshen gave an evaluation of the collection of Chinese fairy tales compiled by foreigners,pointing out the errors and deficiencies.The third chapter "Zhao Jingshen's Folk Tales Research" section,and it mainly discusses his research on Chinese folk tales and the comparative study of Chinese and Western folk tales.The fourth chapter "Zhao Jingshen's Characteristics and Influences of Folk Literature Research",it mainly summarizes the characteristics,influences and shortcomings of his folk literature research.Zhao Jingshen's folk literature research has distinct characteristics and diverse methods.His academic research not only has an impact on the field of folk literature,but also cultivates many students and has made great contributions to China's academic research.However,while affirming Zhao Jingshen's many achievements,we must also realize his shortcomings and regrets in folk literature research.
