Ideas On Female In Enshi Folk Songs

Enshi,a region where Han and minority people live together,has unique ethnic cultural resources.As an important part of Enshi ethnic cultural resources,folk songs of Enshi practices the principle of “from the masses,to the masses”.Women in Enshi,take an active part in the creation of rich and colorful folk songs from their perspectives,which truly and comprehensively recurs the historical features of the society.Thus playing a peculiar role in the male dominated community.With the help of sociology,aesthetics and culturology,this paper analyzes views on women in Enshi folk songs to reveal their value and significance.The main content is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses women's perspectives of love and marriage in Enshi folk songs.There are mainly two different ways for women to fight against the oppression of the feudal traditional marriage system.They handle it either with wisdom or with a firm hand,which reflects their pursuits of freedom and equality in different ways.The second chapter mainly introduces the women's aesthetic standard.Women in Enshi are industrious and brave.They consider hard work,strong physique and goodness as true beauty.They live an active life and be tolerant to others.Enshi folk songs is a symbol of women's aesthetic standard.The third chapter gives an introduction of ethics of women.With the development of society,women has become more independent.The traditional ethics are not completely suitable for modern women.They are in pursuit of gender equality with the hope of promoting the social development by taking full advantage of women's power.
