Interpersonal trust is the research problem to which social and psychological researchers attach importance in recent years.Contemporary Chinese society is experiencing rapid economic development and social transformation. With the increase of social mobility, social relations are also transformed from rural acquaintances into industrialization of the stranger society. The original acquaintance social trust system does not apply to stranger society any longer, thus causing a serious crisis of confidence. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the methods, mode of operation and restraint mechanism of interpersonal trusts of acquaintances and strangers in China, and to actively explore the strategies of rebuilding interpersonal trust. This paper first reviews the definition of trust from the early philosophical speculation to the modern empirical method.By comparing Chinese and western culture, the definition of interpersonal trust decision is put forward. Then, the interpersonal trust type proposed by different scholars is sorted out according to the different factors including emotional factors and rational calculation factors.Interpersonal trust is divided into three categories: cognitive trust, identity trust and mixed trust,Furthermore, that the differences between the trust model of individual to familiar and strangers are mainly reflected in the inclusion of these three types of trust ratios is put forward. On this basis, through the simplicity of the group paradigm that manipulate the identity of the group as well as the manipulation familiarity of the ratio of the face benchmark, the person inside the group identity with multiple contact with the object is chosen as a familiar person, while the person outside the group identity with the first contact with the object is chosen as a stranger. In order to find out an effective way to improve interpersonal trust, the influence of the sanctioning and the cooperation and reciprocity on the interpersonal trust level is then discussed through the different trust level between the individual and the stranger that shown in experimental paradigm of the game. The first experiment adopts trust game paradigm, which views group identity and familiarity as independent variable and investment ratio is used as dependent variable.Individual game is carried out,and interpersonal trust level and difference of individual on members of the interpersonal relations formed by two factors of group identity and familiarity are investigated. The result shows that the individual is more familiar with the level of interpersonal trust formed by the in-group and the familiar members than the stranger who is formed by the out-group and stranger. The second experiment adopts public goods game paradigm, which introduces two conditions of punishment and without punishment.Interpersonal relationship, punishment and experimental stage are viewed as independent variable, and the amount of investment is used as the dependent variable.Individual game is carried out.The purposes of this experiment are to explore the impact of sanctioning on interpersonal trust level of different interpersonal relationships members and to explore the ways to improve the level of interpersonal trust. The result turns out that sanctioning has two sides, which can improve the level of interpersonal trust, but at the same time, will destroy the emotional factors of interpersonal trust. The third experiment combines prisoner's dilemma game paradigm and trust game paradigm, which create reciprocal terms.Interpersonal relationship, experimental stage and reciprocal control direction are viewed as independent variable, and investment ratio is used as dependent variable. The purpose is to investigate the impact of reciprocal factors on interpersonal trust level of different interpersonal relationships. The result shows that high reciprocity can enhance the level of interpersonal trust and the positive impression of high reciprocity is more favorable than the negative impression of low reciprocity. The above experimental results can be summarized as:(1)In the initial trust, the individual identity of the group and familiar with the conditions of the formation of familiar members of the interpersonal trust level higher than the identity of the group and unfamiliar conditions of the formation of unfamiliar members.(2)The sanctioning guarantees that the individual on the familiar and unfamiliar members of the interpersonal trust level is higher than the system does not set theconditions for the protection of the system, but once the sanctioning is canceled, the level of interpersonal trust even reduced to less than never experienced the conditions of punishment.(3)Individuals have high levels of trust for high-partner members,low-confidence levels for low-partner members, and high-positive positive impressions that reduce the subsequent vulnerability of low reciprocity to interpersonal trust, while low negative reciprocity weaken the improvement of interpersonal trust level. And the individual's positive impression of the familiar members is more stable than the stranger members. The above conclusions suggest that the Chinese people follow different interpersonal trust decision-making model to acquaintances and strangers.sanctioning is great helpful of the improvement of interpersonal trust level among strangers, but does harm to emotional connection among acquaintances.Cooperation and reciprocity is an effective way of improving interpersonal trust level and the positive impression of reciprocity is more favorable on the improvement of interpersonal trust in the latter stages.
